Starting to re-release this legendary series 15 years later is GENIUS!

Yes, just as you expected, New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt continues the craziness, amazing humor, and legendary adventures of the series we know and love. While other anime this season have generally failed to satisfy me and have dashed my expectations, this anime has given me something to look forward to every week.

It was clear that this season would feature more sexual jokes and references, and while 15 years have passed and the audience has changed, I believe this series will remain unchanged for its fans.

I hope these thoughts remain intact in future episodes...

Kaiju No. 8 is a manga created in the “classic shounen” style, as many of you may be aware. It's a series that manages to put a smile on the reader's face with plenty of action and a decent story, even if it's a bit thin. While I'm someone who usually loves series with pure action, my feelings about this manga are a bit mixed, and I'll explain why below.

As I mentioned, Kaiju No. 8 has pure action and a decent story
—in short, it's better than Solo Leveling.
However, like other series that follow the same formula, its downside is that it drags on too long ... and can become tedious.

I followed Kaiju No. 8 for a year, which amounts to about 30 chapters. We know the manga has 129 chapters, but after those great 99 chapters, the mangaka would make us read slow chapters with nothing happening every week—sometimes even every month—and this really annoyed me. People who are just starting the series will be lucky because they can read it quickly, but no offense, but I can’t skip this.

Apart from these thoughts, as I mentioned above, I generally liked the series and recommend reading it.

First of all, I want to say that this manga is very nice and sweet for both comedy or romance lovers and people who are interested in fashion design. So if you consider yourself flat, unresponsive and emotionless, I wouldn't recommend this manga.

Marin Kitagawa who loves sweet things and lives a rosy life. Some people want to be like her in life and some people want a girlfriend like her. In this part, we put ourselves in the shoes of Gojou Wakana, a young man whose only thing in life is to design dolls. We could title it something like “a young man who ... regains his life energy thanks to a beautiful girl who enters his life”.

I don't think it's a manga that can write a long review, but as I said, if you like manga with a funny relationship and if you like fashion design, I think you will enjoy it immensely.

My thoughts on this manga are extremely mixed, but if there's one thing I can say, it's that this manga is a lesson. Personally, I left the manga twice and started it again, but when I finally managed to sit down and finish it, I felt like my hands were tied. Mangaka Asano Inio has done such a job that it gives you every emotion while reading. I can't find much more to say, but there are still many topics I want to touch on. Before I go any further down, I want to tell you that this manga really tells the reader a lot.

You ... read this manga as Onodera Punpun, a character who has a lot wrong in his life. Punpun is actually a quiet boy who lives a normal life with his family in elementary school. But you grow up with Punpun and read this manga. You follow everything that happens in Punpun's life from his first school days and develop your thoughts about him. You always witness and think about his friendships, relationships, and experiences with his family.

As you can see in Oyasumi Punpun's my anime list score, its score is 9, and like every manga with this score on this site, Punpun's drawings are a masterpiece. Therefore, you should have no doubts about the drawing. Likewise, something that may seem strange to you is that as you can see in the characters section, Punpun and every character in the Punpun family class is drawn as a bird, do not be prejudiced, this choice adds much better meaning to the manga.
