It was an amazing experience, overall. I think it is definitely the best horror BL anime ever made, even though it is my first one seen. Furthermore, in my point of view, there are many important information about details which makes it even more intriguing. Every single one has a meaning around coming out in a small, conservative town with gossips everywhere. In the last episode, for example, when seen the Yoshiki’s red reflection at the beach means he finally faces his feelings, because it was clearly more difficult for him rather then for Hikaru, the monster, that became more extrovert, talkative and expressed himself
...
better. We can also see by the panic in Yoshiki’s eyes and voice, as well, that he didn’t want to be far away from the person he loved. The lunge forward and what happened in the middle of the adaption, Hikaru “going inside” Yoshiki, is a metaphor for a kiss and wow, incredible way of doing it! Another way of showing that coming out is a difficult process, especially in their town. Anyways, there are a lot more to develop, coming out in the second season, so the ending being open makes people eager to watch it and support the artist. Good piece of art in anime industry.

Dandadan is an anime with an intriguing concept that blends the supernatural, high-paced action and teen romance, topped with a heavy dose of absurd comedy… The premise (aliens and spirits coexisting in a chaotic storyline) has the potential to appeal to those who enjoy unpredictable plots and over-the-top visuals. However, for viewers who don’t enjoy overly exaggerated or slapstick humor, this might not be the show’s strongest point, in my opinion. Many comedic moments feel forced or juvenile, breaking the story’s pacing. That said, there are a few instances where the comedy lands, either due to the unexpected contrast with the action or through more

genuine character interactions. The animation is vibrant and full of energy, and the fight scenes are well choreographed, which helps maintain some engagement even if the humor isn’t my style.
Overall, Dandadan is a bold mix of genres and eccentric humor. If that comedic tone doesn’t click with you, the experience may swing between entertaining moments and scenes that take you out of the story. It’s worth checking out, but with the caveat that the humor won’t be for everyone.

well, this is my first romance manga's review and tbh i personally didn't think i'd like this when i first read it because i wasn't a fan of Mikimoto-sensei's previous works and i thought i would not enjoy reading straight romance manga.
I read this without any expectations and now it's one of my favorite . There weren't any serious love triangles or problems aside from Kaede's issue with the band, his ex girlfriend, stalkers and obviously, other companies trying to blackmail him and Hinana's problem with her parents. (pls, thats not a spoiler, i didnt say what will happen, just saying topics.)
you can
...
also see how open and confortable the couples are with each other. i mean, the story they develop, both the main couple and the other secondary couples is unique and very cute. (the development of the secondary couples is present in volume 12, which is not yet translated into English, but I have read it in Japanese so if you want to know in detail the ending of the manga send me a private message).
there were parts where i cried when kaede was resolving his problems, and i still cried out of happiness at the ending bcs it was soooo cute. it's just.... too wholesome for my heart.
all in all, this is something i'll reread it in the future bcs its so good :d and agreed.... kaede is super hot and handsome hahaha i mean, the art itself is very beautiful too. the characters were amazing unless mitsuki at first he was so annoying and smug but at the end i did liked him .
btw: funny bone was a major element in the unfolding of the story and I also thought the ending was pretty good for them. i think everything ended as it deserved.

I liked it and it was interesting. everyone, even in youtube videos of vlogs or even japanese channels said they watched this movie at least once a year and I doubted at first: "is this good enough?", so I decided to check it out and I was even happier to know it was on netflix.
totoro is very cute and manages to create bonds with the two sisters even though it takes place in few scenarios and with half a dozen characters. the story is very appealing and makes you keep watching and wanting to know the ending! i find Mei a little annoying at first,
...
i don't know why, but the fact that they have such different personalities that end up complementing each other is very cool. the art is incredible for the year it was released and even better than the famous childhood movies that everyone knows. Totoro should be more recognized around the world because Japanese movies are amazing.
One of the most interesting things is recognizing how old Mei and Satsuki are even if they don't say their ages. They are playing and feeling free and the energy their father transmits is heartwarming.
Not giving spoiler, tonori no totoro helps us understand how childhood is a time full of magic and self-knowledge where children should play and imagine things or create them like totoro but, although there is bad news during the movie, for those who have not seen it, know that if the totoro is real to the family then the news will not be so bad.
