Both have a looping story/plot system which are used as the major plot twist. World building is amazing. Same writer. Psycho-pass is much more edgy.

If you liked Mushishi add

...then you might like Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World add

Both are episodic and have a calm relaxing tone. Kino's Journey is more psychological and the philosophy is about traveling and how you can't change cultures as a traveler. Mushishi is more about solving the issues between the supernatural and humans. Kino and Ginko both have similar backstories as well.

Well first off Evangelion was inspired by Devilman. Both use sex to convey messages. The ending scene is extremely similar. They are both insane.

Both blend the line between acting and the real world. Sennen Joyuu is a lot more happier while Perfect Blue is much MUCH darker. Same director and studio. Both great movies

Reversing time gimmick. Both mc's cry a lot and give off the same weak vibe. The mc's also have similar goals(save everyone). Seem to have separate arcs

Both have heavy and meaningful dialogue. The couples interactions feel very similar. The couple are really also good. Katanagatatari's dialogue is heavier but it also has fight scenes.

Both romance with disabled females. Josee focuses more on the romance while the other is more on bullying.
