One of the best anime remakes I’ve ever seen! Simply perfect! One of the best openings and endings of 2025, Ado is the best!
The animation is gorgeous, the voice acting is flawless, the OST fits the vibe of the series perfectly, and the characters are more charismatic than ever! Zero flaws here, a work done with total respect.
I’ll admit that at first I didn’t have much faith in it, but it quickly won me over. I’m going to miss waiting every week for a new episode, not to mention the torture of waiting for the second part of this first season to begin. 😭

Jesus Christ, I can't stop crying. It's the most beautiful, heartbreaking, and pure anime I've ever seen in my life. This masterpiece deserves all the praise and success in the world. It touched me in a way that very few things ever have. I'm really going to miss our little pink octopus.
The development of every character was incredible, it perfectly showed how deep and complex they all were from the very beginning. I have no words for that ending... it's amazing how everything happened exactly the way it needed to for the story to have a perfect conclusion. I'm rushing to buy the manga, I need ...

What an amazing surprise! Easily the best anime of the season, and definitely one of my all-time favorites! Everything about this series is special — the story is beautifully written, the animation is stunning, the soundtrack is perfect, and the characters are absolutely lovable.
The way it blends feelings of nostalgia and sadness with powerful moments of humor and hope is what makes this anime so unique. Special shoutouts to Ponko’s wedding/grandma’s funeral episode and the second-to-last episode where Yachiyo takes a break from her duties — those were the best ones!
