All three of them looked fantastic!!!!!!!!!, but so far I've only had time to give your main recommendation a shot (I plan on watching all of them eventually)
Mawaru Penguindrum has been an awesome experience and I'm currently 10 episodes deep. Its super stylish and I totally understand why it reminded you of Bakemonogatari!
I actually really love penguins so this gift felt extra special (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄
There was a really cool moment in episode nine where the plot really starts to expand, and Himari has a flashback to the events of the first episode. I noticed in this scene her penguin had the number three on its back, which should have been imposable since her brother didn't draw them on until much later. It might have just been an oversight... but with how this show is directed I wonder if its actually had a deeper meaning!
