I more or less was intregued on what i was watching as the episodes didnt give you time to process it all. Definitely no rewatch value, maybe ... a good enough recommendation for someone who wants weird/oddly wholesome shows?

This manga is a trip on its own. You want to feel stuff you've never felt before? You want to personally relate to anything? You want to be crumbled to pieces after you think it couldn't get any worse? This is the manga for you.

Oyasumi Punpun is a manga that portrays life in a way like no other. Its brutal, honest and to the point. This book talks about bullying, abuse, hope, puberty, violence, depression, adulthood, isolation, cultism... It does it in a way that readers sit and question what life is really about.

As this being my first ever Manga Series i have ever ... completed, I have never felt so attached to a story in this way before. I loved watching this cartoon bird making its choices, experiencing its life in front of me, and watching how he learns the troubles of life. I could even relate to some events, characters and emotions personally, which made it that even more intriguing.

If you need a good manga to cry, get lost in your thoughts, and has an overall shocking story... Then give punpun a shot. You wont regret it. I think everyone should read this manga at least once in their lifetime.
