These last couple episodes in the series really hit hard. Seriously, Attack on Titan is one of the best anime ever created. Everything we've been presented with, every question we've ever had... it all comes around full circle here. If you had any confusion about anything at this point, these episodes should make everything clear. While things get weird, twisted, and a little "deus ex machina"-y, everything clicks together in a very understandable way.

Things were always bloody and horrific since day 1, but this just shows it was always going to get worse. That's why this climax really works; it's the peak of everything. ... Not much anime out can do what AoT does.

This little nugget of content, being two rather long specials, is peak anime. Seriously. Do not miss out on AoT. It's seriously so good.

This anime is just spectacular. GOATed anime. This final season ends with the most horrific, high-stakes, and bloody this anime has ever seen. Everyone is working against Eren, showing a huge shift from how this show started. This particular season ramps everything up to levels never thought possible. It's insanely good.

Every season before this one made it easy to determine who your favorite characters of that particular arc was. For this season, I have no idea who my favorite character is because I still don't know where this can go. I mean, I do, but I don't know where it will go. So, it's ... hard to really grow attached to any characters, but that's by design, and works in favor of the anime in my opinion. You're just meant to watch and observe and not necessarily hold any opinions.

Attack on Titan is just so insane and deserves all the love and praise it gets. Never can you watch this for the first time again. You can just go years not watching it and then go back to it when it enters that vague part of your brain to where you don't fully remember what happened. This anime simply rules.

My wife made me watch this in English even though I prefer subbed.

This wasn't bad. I'm reading the manga, and even though I haven't seen the anime at all, I realize I actually know this arc because of the manga. Anyway, this was a pretty straightforward watch. For me, Chainsaw Man is cool because of its animation style, but not really because of the content of its plot. Sure, it's relatable in that Denji is just after boobs and legs. However, I think its high-octane explosions don't necessarily make for memorable moments.

I'd say this movie is good for people who like Chainsaw Man. If ... you're just an anime fan, watching this isn't bad, but it's just kind of plain anime. It's good, but not great.

Kaiju No. 8 is a fun anime to watch because it doesn't rely on obnoxious and flat cliffhangers to keep you interested; it mainly focuses on the fun action, the relationships between the characters, and very straightforward plot points. It's admittedly not the best anime ever, but it's certainly watchable and enjoyable.

I think I liked season 1 better because it had the viewer in its grips, learning everything as it unfolds. Now that we know the most important stuff, it kind of just plays out like any old anime. Thank goodness I'm a big fan of any old anime!

This season is not bad, but it's ... not the best anime of the year. I'd say watch it if you're looking for a high-stakes, action-packed anime that gets the job done.

This episode is certainly a fun little side quest. It's only cool because I watched it right when it came out and there were no other Kaiju No. 8 episodes out. I can understand people not liking it, but I'm not one to skip episodes, filler or not. I liked it, but I suppose it's not necessary to the plot of the second season.

So, I will say that this episode is good, but it's not necessary. However, if you're a real fan of the show, why would you skip it? It's right there, easy to access for you on Crunchyroll, and so you should just ... watch it.

If you're a fan of My Her Academia at all, this little side quest is a very gratifying one. Beloved characters make their return while new characters become introduced, making for a very fan servicey kind of watch, but that's not bad when you consider how good the story is and how much fun it is to watch this series.

The battles and big moments in this show are as good as you'd expect in a MHA series. I'm always on the edge of my seat as I wait for these huge punches to land, or for someone to dodge out of the way just ... in time. The main pull of this little miniseries is the action, really, but how all this action ties into long running narratives in the main show is what makes this so good.

This is good anime in general, but fans of MHA kind of NEED to watch this. It's quite good.

Dragon Ball Daima is a very decent anime. I am in the middle of Dragon Ball as I review Dragon Ball Daima, so I have to admit that as much as I'm a new fan, I can't really admit that I am a HUGE fan, so I can't tell exactly what I'm supposed to like about this anime. It's cute and entertaining, but it also just plays out as simply and expectedly as an anime can. I mean that in most aspects: the animation, the plot, the humor... it's all just... tolerable.

There is a fair bit of charm that makes this anime lean towards ... the good side as opposed to the bad. Really, it's just the familiarity with some of these characters that makes it even worth any of my time. If you're new to Dragon Ball in general, this would not be a good place to start. It might be good for children as a cute little TV show, but as a deep anime fan who seeks hard-hitting plots, this is not it.

I'll just wrap it up by saying it's worth a watch if you're naturally a fan. It's got some sentimental value to it, and you do see some new stuff that I'm certain most fans will at least raise their eyebrows at. Give it a chance! It's not terrible.

Solo Leveling amps up the ante that started bubbling up during season 1. If you liked the first season, there's really no reason why you shouldn't love this one. The story progresses in a very serious and satisfying way, elevating to crazy new heights that you wouldn't have thought possible based on season 1. Straight up, season 2 is an improvement from the last.

The art style might be fast and hard to follow sometimes, but the crisp and clear nature of it when it's settled and readable makes it easy to fall in love with. The art style is subtle but powerful, paving the ... way for many visual spectacles. Just on the basic merits of what anime should be like, Solo Leveling is supreme.

As for the story, it's simple, but if you found yourself invested in the first season, you will enjoy season 2's story fully. Some problems become resolved, but new problems present themselves. The direction of this anime locks you in effectively, proving Solo Leveling has what it takes to be considered one of the modern greats.

Monster is without a doubt a top-tier thriller. From beginning to end, you never know what's going to happen next, and this stays true all the way until the very final scene. That very last moment really brings the show to a perfect close, making it clear you just watched peak kino.

Monster is essentially a mystery noir story, but it's a seriously dark one. You will not believe just how close to hell everyone involved in this crime thriller goes. You start out following just one character as he unfolds the mystery, and before you know it, you are locked into every big player's ... story and how it relates to this one big web of chaos, destruction, and horror.

You'll become so attached to each character and the stakes at play that you won't be able to stop watching this one. There's always some sort of crazy twist or new dilemma that keeps you on the edge of your seat every single episode. The storytelling and pacing of Monster are perfection. I could watch this entire thing again right now.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is a very captivating anime. At first, it's so strong and heavy-handed that you almost expect a Vinland Saga degree of weight and meaning. With time, you realize that even though it is a big anime with much to see, it's not that intimidating. The animation style is clean and good, somehow working really well with the pacing of the story. The animation works whether we are in a slow and dark part, or if we're in a bright and bloody part. Orb just feels so good to watch.

Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is embedded ... with a lesson. It teaches the viewer that dogma can be a huge mountain of suppression, and that sometimes, the pursuit of truth can require ultimate sacrifices. I can't express to you just how meaningful and important every episode feels. I think the only time the pacing feels off is literally at the very end, when the show kind of just abruptly stops and explains to you what happens in the future. Apart from this, the flow of this anime is pretty pristine.

I will admit that as the show creeps closer to the end, the magic of everything starts to diminish. It was almost a "must-watch" anime, but I still think it's very good. I highly recommend this to people who liked Vinland Saga for its purpose and its ability to touch your soul. Yeah, there's blood and cool action scenes, but Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is not really about that. It's about the truth.
