Both shows feature a member of an organization fighting “evil” who take in an “enemy” child to raise as their own. These adopted kids don’t know anything about the supernatural word until they are attacked and their fathers are killed. They then go to school to learn more about the supernatural world they come from and their newfound powers. The MCs both have similar personalities as well so has a similar comedic feel at times.
