Both are very violent, and have children as the main characters. Personalities are pretty similar, and both can switch from very cute to very dark almost instantly.

If you liked Death Note add

...then you might like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch add

Take some concepts from Death Note, and add in a lot of mecha action. Both have main characters who want to change the world. Very interesting.

If you liked Bleach, you might like this. Both deal with similar concepts, while still being really different. Both great series.
