Three episodes in, you quickly realize it uses the cheap tactic of making all characters dumb, in order to make the three main characters look smart. The side characters often behave in unrealistically stupid ways because of this.
In regards to the female character- insane overuse of the damsel in distress character type. Why is she always fainting and collapsing for no apparent reason? Why can't she do a single thing on her own, besides falling over?
