TLDR: cute series but unfinished; please read the manga

I really enjoy this anime. It's got cute characters, a good art style, and it's funny. Hinamatsuri is also very wholesome, especially considering Anzu. It dives into her life as a homeless person, and shows her struggles, as well as her wins. The series can get a bit boring at times, but hey, that's slice-of-life for ya. If you like charming father-daughter bonding moments with a hint of chaos, then you'll probably like this.

However, if you ONLY watch the anime, then you're missing out on a lot of critical information. Once you finish watching, you'll be ... left wondering "Who even are these girls? What about the scene at the end?". I highly recommend to anyone interested in watching Hinamatsuri that you read the manga afterwards. For anyone who doesn't wanna re-read what they just watched and is OK with missing a few manga-only side stories, the new content starts at volume 10, chapter 49. Overall, the manga has a lot more hilarious scenes and ACTUALLY goes into detail about where the espers come from.
