I loved this so much. I think it's because it focused on family but also some detective stories at the same time. I was genuinely so sad when I finished the 2 seasons... I can't wait until the next one comes out though. I loved the bounds that each characters created between each other, as people who used to struggle with that, they are like 3 outcasts who met and formed a family. I didn't liked it at all. The drawings, the animations, the design was good indeed, the show was really light and comforting? But the story was so annoying and boring I thought I could've watch another movie at the same time and nothing would evolve... I will never understand who I liked it more than some really loved shonen among the community of anime watchers but I swear it was so good. I don't know how to explain but it was comforting? Not only because of the food, but also because the character's friendships mixed with rivalry was amazing. THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST SHOJO THAT HUMAN HAS EVER CREATED. I mean in my heart, even though this is not my favorite. ): But it used to be so I am going to talk if if it's still was. It was good, even GREAT. I liked the story, I liked the vibes, it was cute but also dark. The backstories were really deep and it really showed realistic issues that we, as real humans, also experience irl. The topics were really meaningful, it tackled the notions of suicide, mental health, self-harm, etc... I WAS SO UPSET ABOUT THIS. I gave it a second chance because I thought that I was being grumpy when I gave up after episode 1 a few years ago, - I finished it this year and it was not worth all the 24 episodes I have to endure. I am sorry but it was so boring, I think it could have been better if it was like 12 episodes or something... But the main couple was cute, okay. This is the type of anime I would recommend to someone who does not watch animes in general. The plot was clear and really catchy, it had a beginning and a concrete end in 12 episodes. Simple and good. For me it kinda fits all the conditions that an anime could have to be "good". This is not the type of show that would become someone's favorite though? I understand the hype, and I was surprised to know that the anime was not as a HIT in France than it was in Japan, for me it's one of the classical animes that someone could watch, but in fact this is not the case in its country. It made me so nostalgic to watch it so I think it influenced my opinion on it. It's the type of show that makes you want to have friends and live a cool and happy life during high school... I loved the character's backstory and their motives, the matches were just too long, cuz wym it can lasts a whole season... I love it for the vibes, but I don't know if I would recommend it to someone who wants to start sport anime because it was really long and not everyone would have the strength to not give up before the end.

I was so so upset about the end and the story in general...Like the MC pissed me off so bad, I know life is though but like it was just so annoying to see her every time. I was disappointed, it was boring as hell, the only good thing might be the male lead's apparitions but that's all. I also liked the girl who used to date him, she was so much better than the MC herself honestly... But I get the bullying thing, however I still didn't enjoyed it, I don't really recommend it for someone who wants to start watching shojo.
