i actually thought the anime started out okay, feels pretty interesting though it kind of reminds me of "tondemo sukiru de isekai hōrō meshi". like the concept is pretty similar where both mc got transferred to another world and able to bought things online from their world.
however halfway through the anime, it just kind of get really sleazy or something. like every woman just started throwing themselves at the mc and the mc seems okay with it, to the point of bathing or sleeping with them. i honestly thought it weird out the anime and makes the plot very confusing.

honestly, i have high hopes for this anime because the PV seems interesting however the execution fell short. the plot wasn't transmitted very clearly, and it seems kind of all over the place.
like what exactly are they suppose to do? what are their roles? there wasn't much background on the characters as well hence it was kind of superficial in general. i mean the characters are strong sword users but that's about it on them. tagging it as historical/samurai is overrated as there wasn't much on what is the history linking to samurai. and the samurai part are just fighting all over unfortunately. i think ...

i don't know how to rate this anime to be honest… because i actually thought it seems like a promising anime but after watching the first few episodes, the execution felt rather flawed.
the female character kept trying to run away but no matter what she do, she can't run away. then the prince kept abusing his power to tie down the female character with him. he seems more like a stalker to me. i think if the female character really do not want to marry the prince, she should have done something drastic instead of being manipulated by the prince.

i think the series is starting to lose it appeal for me. when i started watching the pot series right from the beginning, i know this anime is not the kind of realistic sports anime however it wasn't too bad to watch so i continued watching.
but somehow from the start of the u-17 competition, it was getting way over the top for some reason. i wonder if they are trying to "best" the original tv series so the characters' tennis skills or moves have to be more "level up", or they are just running out of ideas so they just produce whatever they can ...

i think the anime is just mediocre, all the characters are less than memorable, can't even remember their name.
i think the plot of forming a boys choir is not a bad idea, just that the execution is terrible. and what's with the last episode's ending? what does it mean? is the conductor staying to continue teaching them or he is going to go back to his original conductor position, i totally don't get it. i kept on watching instead of dropping the anime as i was hoping there will be some sort of climax in the development however there was none. i would say not to ...

i had high hopes for this anime after i came across it as one of the anime gonna be release for this last quarter of the year. went to google down, listen to all their songs on their youtube channels etc. however the anime did not live up to my expectations, i feel that the adaption seems to focus more on the characters' personal lives, their tribulation blah blah blah instead of their music and the competition.
additionally, the anime felt really choppy that i couldn't link them up. for example in episode 3, right at the beginning it was announced that the second round stage ...

i watched the anime many years ago, decided to read the manga now as i was bored and curious to know if there are a lot of changes made in the anime as compared to the original storyline.
i think the manga started out okay, however towards the last few volumes of the series, the storyline was getting more and more ridiculous. i was losing interest already but wanted to complete the series so i forced myself to finish it. i think the author just went a little too crazy with the storyline development in the last few volumes that it kinda missed the mark for ...

i had high hopes for this anime as it's art related and i like artsy-fartsy stuff, however to say i am disappointed is an understatement.
first of all, i felt that the characters' drama overshadowed the main plot of perception art. i mean the non-stop drama of all the characters was annoying as shit, like why?? really, why?? secondly, the main plot is art, specially "perception art" but i still don't really get the whole concept of it as there wasn't much explanation about it. additionally, there isn't much scene of the characters doing the actual art because of all the nonsensical drama. i mean the execution ...

hmm… i wouldn’t say the movie is bad, it just went in a different direction than i expected i guess. i was expecting the movie to be focus on the team participating in the nationals competition since it's all they talked about in the tv series. so when the competition begin right from the start, i started to think something else might happen if not there is too much time left in the movie, lol.

hmm… i like the concept of competitive ballroom dancing as i have not watch any anime that uses this as a theme. however the execution is very poorly done, because even though "dance" being the main plot of the anime, i don’t feel that there was enough "dance" shown.
instead of the characters' dance routine or their full performance, we keep getting flashes of the audience's expressions or their commentary about who is good yada yada which honestly, viewers don't really give a shit about. i mean what's the point of filming audiences' in awed expressions when we viewers don't even know what are they in ... |
