Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy, the isekai that boldly asks: what if our protagonist didn't care about the plot. The middle aged power fantasy: financial stability and a cute pet that likes you!
This show has fun with the some anime tropes keeps things fresh by introducing lots of events to the plot. It's a lighthearted fantasy romp and a enjoyable season perfect for a casual watching sesh. It's gotten a lot of poor reviews, which I personally can't understand. It's primary point is to be a pleasant comedy with some hints of action, and I fear people are taking the fantasy and combat aspects of it too seriously and expecting some expanded universe or charismatic protagonist. The sloppiest isekai power fantasy slop to ever hit the market. If you took a shot every time the mc saves a love interest you'd die of alcohol poisoning. There is quite literally no compelling reason to give this show even a passing glance, and I'm embarrassed I let the whole thing play in the background while doing chores.
