Ragna Crimson

Said to be humanity's natural enemy, formidable dragons that belong to an ancient bloodline roam the world. Only two ways prove effective to kill a dragon: freezing their blood with silverine—an aura that comes from silver weapons—or letting their bodies be incinerated by sunlight.

Young hunter prodigy Leonica is accompanied by her close friend Ragna, who appears to lack the skills necessary in their profession. Moreover, many shun Ragna, considering him cursed because dragons always seem to attack him and slaughter his close ones. Nevertheless, Leonica sees potential in Ragna and gladly partners up with him. Likewise, Ragna feels certain that Leonica is immune to his misfortune thanks to her incredible strength.

His confidence is shaken, however, when Ragna dreams of Leonica's death, believing this to be a prophecy. As the destined day arrives, he comes face-to-face with his future self, who bestows him enormous power and memories from the future to ensure Leonica's safety. In order to succeed, Ragna must join forces with a mysterious figure known as Crimson and eradicate all dragons for good.

Unique story that grips you as soon as you understand what is happening and doesn't let go,

flawless voice acting (Sukuna's voice actor is putting in work, too. But Crimson, Ultimatia, and Silverware Princess are the MVPs)

great, realistic and entertaining characters growing with experience without relying on MC to carry the show,

decent sound design, nothing to write home about

... but extremely bad animation that gets worse as the show goes on. It makes me honestly wonder what the work conditions of this animation studio could possibly be.

Still, the fun gimmick of this show is that the good guys are shown as scary, under-handed and shady while the villains use pep talks and power of friendship along with their backstory memories power-ups.

I will be reading the manga from the beginning to make up for the animation ; I suggest everyone to watch/read Ragna Crimson, there's multiple genres well-woved in, so there's something for everyone.

Mixed Feelings

Ragna Crimson Season 1 has some of the most annoying, unnecessary, and uninteresting villains ever!

Ultimatia is such a bore. Voltekamui feels like a Ban knock-off.

Tbh, almost every character is uninteresting. Crimson has one or two perks, but he's also boring at times. The plot turns the protagonist, Ragna, into a very dull character. He has basically zero growth. He's overpowered, but his decision making is so disappointing.

Then mix Starlia into the pot, and you get a full on bore fest. Starlia was annoying as hell throughout the show. But the heartbreaking thing is that up to episode 8, this anime was actually really good ... and interesting. Then Starlia came and made everything feel so meh...

I'm severely disappointed, especially given how the first 8 episodes were literally peak level.

The animation truly fine, even better than Isekai Shadow "Iam atomic".

But the story? It so template, I cannot like it. Like… what the hell? CCTV, nanomachines, dragons, dragon gods, guns, and they can fly to the moon? Verily, such tale is utter rubbish.

The logic is lost, horrible or simply illogical, the setting is chaos, like a drunken bard who forget his own song. Story development? A rotten apple—soft, foul, and wasted.

Average main character with god-strength for no reason. Dialogue too many yet say nothing, like wind dancing through empty halls.

Character designs look good, yes, but the characters themselves? Nay. Foolish puppets. A random OP loli ... at the start, cloning people, what madness is this?

A waste of gold and time for the creators. Many titles far more noble than this.

This series is like a painting fair to behold, yet the story? Nothing.

Perfect for middle school children who thirst for punching, smashing, and violence.

Animasinya baguss asli bahkan lebih bagus daripada animasinya Isekai Shadow.

Ceritanya template banget gw nggak suka suka, apa apaan coba ada CCTV, nanomachine, ada naga, ada dewa naga, ada senjata api, bisa pergi ke bulan, kontol lah cerita sampah.

Logic nya nggak jelas, setting nya nggak jelas banget ngentot, story development nya sampah

Design character nya bagus bagus, tapi karakter nya sampah semua, apa apaan coba ada loli OP diawal cerita dan manusia kloning, tai lah

Buang buang budget dan waktu aja yang bikin nih anime, kan banyak title yang jauh lebih bagus.

Nih seri gambaran nya bagus tapi ceritanya kagak.

Cocok buat anak esempeh yang suka baku hantam hantaman dan manusia pecinta kekerasan
