| Crunchyroll released the episode earlier Sorry to Yamabuki for what I said last episode. Two episodes in and he’s already better than Chitose. He doesn’t back down and he admits his flaws. He’s straightforward and getting more likeable. And to no one's surprise, the tsundere's segment was easily the best so far. Though a kick to the balls already? That's a bit extreme even for a tsundere xD |

| Decent episode Yamabuki really put huge effort into developing them girls into pros. What an incredible man he is. I wonder what will happen to the other 2 girls, guess we'll found out in the next episode. |

animation was at least a bit better no?
| @Nrman17 admittedly yes, but still one of the weakest among romance anime this season. They're also still cutting some contents in this episode, which is a shame. Imagine if it's really a 2-cour series. |

| Rikka's singing this episode was very beautiful and seeing Yamabuki help Nene was sweet. Next week is hopefully Shinobu and Iko. @Reecey91 Yeah you can seriously see his passion for the girls. Yamabuki comes off a bit arrogant on his first introduction but he's genuinely an honest guy. Yamabuki's confidence, kindness, and awkward moments make him shine as my favorite romcom protagonist. |
| Wow. Yamabuki actually put his money where his mouth is and actually picked up the guitar and tried singing in front of a live audience. Gotta say, this guy's admirable. It's a shame we didn't get to see him actually sing tho. Rikka's singing was good. Yeah, it was pretty obvious Nene wouldn't get the role. Unless she had outstanding performance, she probably wouldn't just get a high-profile role that would probably be given to a veteran seiyuu. In this case, the author's favorite won. It was still nice how Yamabuki pretended to be her knightly lover in front of the school. Starting to think this guy has no shame. But that indirect kiss was still nice. The OP and ED are good. I'd say the OP is better than the other series' with 4 main girls I'm watching this season. |
| Is it just me or is this episode feels like it should be 3 or 4 episodes instead of 1? They rushed trough it so fast that it also feels they cut a lot, from music performance in 1st half to many more theatrical scenes in 2nd half. |
| Pretty good episode that primarily focused on 2 of the girls in Rikka and Nene. Regarding Rikka, she was a bit too aggressive towards Yamabuki but he also came on strong and appeared arrogant although he did back up his words and the girls noticed it. Nene was also a bit aggressive and she showed it physically and while she didn't get the part she was trying out for her acting skills did improve overall and we learned that her ears turn red when she lies. |
| Well stamina is important for all voice related careers. But running this early for thems gonna be a shock. Still its nice seeing how serious Arisu is in his goals. Rikka though is pretty impressive in being able to write songs at her age. Quite the song that she sung too. Arisu's total confidence in himself though is a bit off putting. The reaction of the school to the fake relationship though was priceless. But the interactions between Arisu and Nene was amusing. He really pushed hard to prep her for the audition thats for sure. Still breaking through the tsun that is Nene sure is gonna be entertaining. The ED sure was another banger. |

| Ok, I really don't like Rikka. She is the most annoying archetype, on top of having main girl vibes. Nene on the other hand, is good! |
| The ED is beautiful, I love it. Man, Nene's voice is just too cute. And she's not just a generic tsundere either. I hope she gets more fans. And Chadbuki is just doing his things in the most dedicated way, he still remains the best part. I wish they didn't change Rikka's "big fat liar" from the manga to just "liar", the former had a nice ring to it, but okay. |

| Yamabuki's constant dramatic flair really helps make his sincere moments shine that much brighter just by having him dial down the ham a bit lol. It'd be hilarious if Nene did another audition for a tsundere character down the line and instantly wins it. |

| Some goofy or strange visuals here and there and the overall animation is pretty lacking in general but it's at least fun. Though the shoulder throw by Nene was pretty nice. Also Iko regularly being drawn as a cat blob is pretty amusing too. |

Obviously doesn’t have the details of the manga, but very few romcom adaptations do nor do they need to. The girls look cute, the animation is solid, it’s a standard 2020s anime lol. Anyway, I really like how the MC here actually has too much confidence instead of the usual pussy romcom MC that’s afraid of women and has zero self esteem. Yamabuki’s overconfidence actually gets him in some trouble here too like with Rikka earlier in the episode. Why would an accomplished guitar player and singer listen to a dude who’s never played in his life? Well, there’s genuine reasons why, but he’s just so awful at going about it that it pisses her off, but I enjoyed seeing him make it up to her by learning to play the guitar himself! Conversely later in the episode he rubs Nene the wrong way and we get the whole “let’s pretend to be lovers which totally won’t result in us actually falling in love” thing lol. This does make him a really cool MC though. He actually can detect things like Nene’s kiss or how she’s fallen for him, he’s just more forward than Japanese culture usually permits which creates some friction. I like it, I hope he stays the same throughout. I’m starting to grow out of shonen harem romcoms, but when you do things like this it keeps my interest! Also, heavily investing in Nene x Arisu as best ship. She reminds me so much of Ouka from Shiunji family. I love her. I also still believe apollo is either some amalgamation of all the girls’ voices OR Arisu is just hearing what he wants to hear. |

| Loved this episode so much. It was better than the first episode for me. Yamabuki mouthed off and got completely destroyed by Rikka's singing lol Tsundere Nene is really starting to grow on me 💖✨ The studio is doing pretty well. Still people complaining about the animation. Nothing can satisfy the manga readers. |

| It took way too long into the opening song to realise Suisei was the vocalist singing it, guess this show has something I can call special about it, her talents honestly wasted on a show like this. Not that this shows bad just a little plain compared to everything else this season. So that's two hololive girls performing a opening song this season. Aside from the banging opening I honestly have come to quite like Arisu, I'd rather have a stuck up full of himself mc like him then some loser harem mc. I also like that he's not perfect and fails despite putting in the effort at times. Plus his dynamic with some of the girls is really funny. Not too interested in the plot itself and honestly the girls currently ain't super interesting but I enjoy the character interactions at the least |

| Cute episode, liked Rikka's original song but was a bit sad when there wasn't a song for the duet between her and Yamabuki, but that would've probably taken too much time. I also appreciated how Nene's VA's line delivery was flatter when she was practicing. |
| I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23. Slam Dunk Chapters 272 to 276 are a perfect stretch of manga. |
That's how my GOAT tames a tsundere with easeee But man the kiss scene felt so bland compared to the manga. I don't like to complain with things like this but it I have to. It's just doesn't executed that well. Very plain same animation and not even good bgm,huh... That said rest was fine. Nene part was hilarious and was adapted decently. And Rikka part especially the singing it wasn't bad either. I think some parts are skipped like Arisu followed her concerts for a long time before jumping in. But atleast Rikka's seiyuu singing was great. Idk why you have to add so much flashback during it but whatever. Atleast they are adopting Kirino as the emote way as it SHOULD. Disappointed not all seiyuu do the ED like every harem anime does. OP looked flashy at times but also reused scene and many stills. Still not bad..  Here's the weekly reminder Shinobu is one and truly the best girl☝️ |
| I haven't read the manga, but the animation and direction don't really feel on par with the character and narrative of the show. I usually don't care too much about animation, but this is just egregious. Why can't this show get the same treatment as KaoruHana, or the currently airing SeiHantai? |

| OP with visuals is pretty nice, but wow that ED tho, that’s what dreams are made of, hard to believe Soala’s only had one other anime song before this one, and it was for the Japanese dub of a Chinese show, well it’s good she’s got more now. As for the episode, I want to comment on the production first since it’s kinda the hot topic, and I will admit that some scenes could be better, like Rikka’s performance scene, but overall I think Gekkou are doing a good job so far, it’s by no means bad. As for the contents of the episode, we got some nice Rikka focus in the first half, she didn’t like Yamabuki’s way of doing things and ended up getting to him, but it was cool to see him turn it all around by learning guitar himself and hijacking Rikka’s stage, I would’ve loved to see Yamabuki’s duo performance with Rikka but I still really liked the moment, I’m gonna have to get Yamabuki to pass me the setlist lol. Also, needless to say Rikka is a really good singer and guitar player, Yamabuki is right that she’d probably make some CD sales happen but we’ll see if she gets there or not. And the second half of the episode was Nene focused, it was honestly a genius idea on Yamabuki’s part to reenact that romance manga with her, you’d think she wouldn’t agree but Yamabuki has a way with words lol, it made for some great moments but unfortunately Nene didn’t get the voice role, but what she did get was an improvement in her acting and a closer bond with Yamabuki if that kiss scene tells us anything, ngl she’s fighting for my number 1 spot after all that but I think it’ll be a bit longer before I have a definite pick. |

He might be a bit overeager, he should try getting help from one of the girls just like how Fuutaro asked Yotsuba for help. He even tries hard to show his dedication by trying to learn to play guitar overnight and even getting Rikka to use a method acting practice before her audition. Anyway, even if it was just pretend that hand holding scene as early. I can't believe that Rikka agreed to it but I guess I can, afterall she did try to kiss him behind that manga. Not much difference with my girl rankings after this episode, Rikka is on the lead with that pretend relationship. Girls Ranking (ep 2): 1. Himekawa, Nene 2. Inohana, Rikka 3. Uzuki, Shinobu 4. | I still don't believe that Rikka is Apollo, but rather one of them. That would be too easy. As for the animation, it's quite good, I didn't notice any flaws, although I'm not one to be picky about such things, especially since this is the TV version and not the Blu-ray. |

| This is so fucking good but the animation feels a bit off, I don’t mind it though. For me, the brown haired one is the most suspicious until now. I’ve got no opinion about the other ones. I kinda like Nene but I don’t want her to win. I like Uzuki the most. I WANNA READ THE MANGA SO BADDD. But I like the feeling of the anime hype. |
| I'm by no means an animation snob, but this anime looks budget sometimes, like the scene of Rikka's audience, where they just pan across a still for several seconds. I do really like the OP and ED, though, and the VA work is good. If I was in charge of production, I'd waited another year, and done two cours to give it room to breathe. Feels like speedrunning a bit. No Best Girl Lemon yet, either.... :( |
