| Holy molly that revelation towards the last second is what you called the perfect cliff hanger as an anime watcher that is really a surprise for me. I can't wait to see the next season and on how they will going to rescue amo and all the remaining mystery and shenanigans with the hell guard as well. |

| Ah, was Rudo's last name supposed to be a secret throughout the series? Because MAL had it displayed since the beginning like it was nothing. Oh well. OK finale. Some new characters were teased and Rudo taking the role of "older brother" (kinda) during the field trip was lowkey sweet to see. Though I doubt characters like Dear and Guita need a chaperone but guess one never knows. By the way, gotta say I absolutely love Kyouka's character design. Especially her hairstyle and how nicely its color matches with her coat. No idea if she will become an enemy or ally later on but no matter the situation, I hope I can see more of her during Season 2. Average first season overall. There were some aspects I really liked (character designs, art direction, Rudo's slow yet captivating character growth, etc.) and others I truly disliked (Rudo's initial edginess, antagonist faction being pretty generic, Amo and Jabber's insufferable existences, etc.). Wouldn't say it's a bad show since I never felt bored while watching but it's true that it felt tiring for moments. Especially with some characters doing their hardest to annoy me and also me being unable to fully click with the story despite the promising worldbuilding and some interesting pieces of lore being thrown here and there. This said, I hope Season 2 focuses on the things I'm interested in such as the lore surrounding The Border, this "Watcher" entity and Regto's connection with the Watchman series because I can easily see the appeal and potential that lie there. 5/10 |

| I initially wrote it off as an edgy dark fantasy and while it may not be completely off the mark, it's certainly very good. Loved Rudo's growth through the season and the lore in this show. I think it would be better if they focused even more on the lore coz I'm pretty invested in that. If I have time, maybe I will go read the manga. |

| Im gonna keep this short and sweet. I want more of this show. I love it to bits and the way it conveys important of the other or each other has me rethinking and meditating on what the author is trying to convey. Obviously, "keep your relationships tight, and take care of yourself and the things you care for" are the back bone of this whole show. But the setting, the character archetypes makes me believe that the author has drawn to the same conclusion as the hungry games author. Or drawn inspiration the same way, and landed on trying to deliver the same type of message through their insanely alluring world building, and interesting/lovable characters. Anyway, I want Mao. I mean I want her bad. I mean I want her to be safe from bad things... hehe. Thats all she wrote for today. And I am not rating as I used to and Im gonna keep chocking it for today. I had a lot to go over the past few months and so my brain feels like jello. 10/10 over all. One thing that stuck out to me would be the plot devices, I thought, earlier on were holes, but I guess the author used them to their advantage when writing this show. Great stuff. Will watch and HOPEFULLY... write about each episode release. Thank you Gachiakuta for keeping me warm with interest and giggling through this odd ball of a autoum weather. | Great episode! Maaan, Zanka slowly getting comfy in his mentor role for Rudo, even giving as simple advice. I love that guy. Respect Rudo for trying his best to connect to Remy in the only way he knew how, and it was pretty clever too. Yo this Corvus guy must have some crazy lore bro, the eye thing on the back of his neck, and his weird aura. He knew those dudes where coming too. Nice field trip, and that guy from the Raiders was there too I guess. RUDO IS RELATED TO THE GUY OF THE WATCHMAN SERIES?!? AND WAS THAT TAMSY THAT HAS AMO INPRISONED????????? Crazy cliffhanger. EXCITED FOR SEASON 2! |
| This series ticked alot of the right notes for me, felt like it valued its character interaction well over just how to use them for action and even the boss rush arc was loaded with great banter between them. I see alot of potential in how the plot is setting up so even though id largely say this was a well done but average shounen adeventure series I can see the ways it could really evolve into something bigger and better I think the anime could of maybe just, not spoiled itself with the final scene this episode and saved that for the next season but whatever at least I'm technically at the point where im no longer spoiled on that specific plotpoint. |

@Shiro_Asaigawa The whole season was about Rudo's growth, are we watching the same series? Even this episode Zanka was pushing him to grow even more. Are we watching the same series? Rudo went from a brainless angry kid who just wanted revent to a calmer person who wants to support people around him. His conversation with Zodyl was also all about how he grew.

| Overall disappointing last episode. It was predictable but paced a little bit better than previous episodes which to me were some of the most boring exposition dumps I've seen of late. I delayed watching this show until good long time has passed and I finally got some time to watch it in one sitting and am totally regretting the decision. Mindless drivel and pointless measuring who has more friends really killed it for me. It's also kind of shit how little the main character has progressed over these 24 episodes. Worse even how little he got to use his powers. But talk, oh boy he can talk alright. And ending. Boy let's talk about ending. Seldom has this world seen a bigger asshole cliffhanger than this. |
| Ok finished Gachiakuza. This was a solid show. I thought parts were a bit too stretched out, but I really liked the world and the atmosphere. I like that it is a little edgy too and Rudo is kind of unstable. This is a nice change for Bones where they had just been doing MHA for so long and the overly positive nature of that series was kind of nauseating for me. Some of the characters I don’t really care for, but I do like most of the main ones. The main villain is also pretty cool. Funny enough, I think the last episode was my favorite episode. We just got a big expansion to all the concepts that had been developing the whole season and things are starting to become more clear. That revelation with Rudo at the end was super fascinating. Plus it was endearing seeing all the kids hang out and unwind, and it was neat seeing the Kyouka and her faction. I’m looking forward to season 2! 7/10 for me. |
| The field trip with the Cleaner kids was nice. It was a great opportunity for them, not so much for the outside forces trying to manipulate them. Of which there were at least three... I'm just glad that the child kidnapper got dropped by a sugar-crazed Rudo. Shikage freaking out about Kyouka and The Hell Guard sent me into an alert too. So I think Ethan Condon did a great job with that line delivery. Enjin getting the sniffles over Fu trying to serve under him is funny and I hope we get more of that dynamic in season two. Speaking of things I want to see explained in season two. That Amo cliffhanger is insane. Whoever has her locked up looks a bit like Tamsy. Either he has an evil twin, or he's changed his look up while he's been out of focus. I'm glad more of this show is coming! |

| Rudo’s awkward attempts to cheer up Remlin were genuinely funny. He’s clearly trying his best even if his best isn’t exactly smooth, but that’s what makes it so endearing. It’s nice seeing him show he cares in his own clumsy way. I’m also surprised that Rudo even has a surname. I honestly assumed he didn’t have one at all, so that reveal caught me off guard. Now I’m wondering if he’s a descendant of the Undertaker, or if they share a common ancestor and it’s going to tie into something bigger later. And that after credits scene was a complete shock. What a way to end the season. Now I seriously need more. |

Poor Amo remains hopeful that Rudo will save her This anime was okay, not the best, but also not the worst. The animation was pretty good overall, but the story drags onnnnnn. Will I watch the next season? Yes 7/10 |
