| Well, this show does take the idea of love seriously. I mean, even Yano knows it now. Still early in the season but I see the chemistry. I think they intentionally made Kiyoko glowing this episode which I thought was semi-comical. Some awkward moments aside, Yano is still being like his usual self and a good friend. |

| Oh my gosh, not just a confession episode, but one of the best confessions I’ve ever seen. It’s not over dramatic or dragged out, not a lot of crazy build up, just Yano finally putting a name to the feelings he’s been experiencing this entire time and letting Kiyoko know he feels just as strongly about her as she does him 🥹🥹Kiyoko and Yano we are all rooting for you! Kicking my feet in the air this was so cute I love how this entire episode is just everyone peeping out how everyone feels. Kiyoko’s friends clocking she’s in love with Yano. Yano clocking that Hashiba is in love with Kiyoko and Hashiba realizing the same for Yano. It’s like the worst kept secrets lol. “It’s for my sister” yea bro you ain’t fooling nobody. Hashiba reading shoujo is so cute and makes him even more relatable. Again, I feel for him because dude is a sweetheart and in any other story I’d root for him! He’s really the MVP of the episode too because without him putting Yano on shoujo manga, yano never would’ve put a title on his feelings for Kiyoko lol. I did NOT expect that first Yano confession to just be so ordinary and in the middle of class and I really appreciate that because it’s such a deviation from usual shoujo tropes! Kiyoko.exe has stop working! Not her totally freezing up afterwards lmao Our ending confession was so sweet, Yano didn’t stutter or hesitate at all, just straight up telling Kiyoko how he feels about her and leaving zero room for misunderstanding. You can see the weight off her shoulders as she’s finally got the boy of her dreams who she’s been chasing for so long. Now, how do they navigate their new relationship since this is all new to them? 6 episodes in we’re dating. can’t ask for a better start to a shoujo romance. |

| This is my favorite romance episode of recent times, it was genuinely so funny, Yano full on hitting on Yoshida in front of everyone, the way he was acting and blushing like the girl in the shoujo manga and Yoshida acting like Izumi was funny too, and also her meltdown, it all came out of nowhere and ended up being great comedy. Hashiba not believing his eyes also sent me, so many funny scenes in this episode. Then after an already good episode the confession was just so nice too, no misunderstandings or anything like that, it was just pure. This is an episode I will individually rewatch for sure. For me this anime earned being held to a higher standard and I expect another great 6 episodes going forward. |

Well, I mean there are 1 or 2 Rom Coms with just as fast or faster progress but they are so freaking rare. Just as I was considering dropping it a couple weeks ago. OK, this is hella cute & they are a great couple. I hope they take a hint from Shikamori Is Not just A Cutie though, and keep on the reduced accident plot. THat was what was starting to bore me.

| Perfect episode. 5/5. Firstly, Hashiba getting caught buying the shoujo manga and trying to explain himself to both Tsuyoshi and Haruto was absolutely hilarious. Secondly, Kiyoko imitating Izumi was the most hilariously adorable thing ever. Thirdly, Tsuyoshi suddenly petting Kiyoko in the middle of the classroom was also too cute. And lastly, the way Tsuyoshi boldly confessed to Kiyoko in front of the entire class was both hilarious and gutsy, especially with how everyone reacted. I can’t believe we actually got a confession, not just from one of the main characters, but from both of them to each other, when we’re only halfway through the anime. That’s such a rare occurrence. I can’t wait to see what kinds of dates they’ll go on. |

| Incredibly sweet and funny episode. I laughed out loud in a few places, especially when Yano was full-on hitting on Kiyoko until her brain stopped functioning. Yano's brain was already broken by shoujo manga, obviously. kiz-chan said: why do i have the inkling they will go back to their usual thing cause none of them know how to act as a couple? i do hope i'm wrong I also think this is likely, but I'd be down for this. This episode (and the last one) was such an insane ramp-up in romance that there has to be some catch to this. I'm not sure at all how these two goofs will navigate the situation, and I'm really looking forward to what the story comes up with. |
| I'm so glad I gave this series a try! This certainly climbs up to one of the most memorable confessions in anime this year. My Awkward Senpai is just not hitting it for me, Chitose kun is starting to look like a Mary Sue of harem anime, and I feel like I've already watched My Friends Little Sister has it in for me. This show has me excited to look forward to it's next episodes. Hey, may we all learn to be as innocent as Yano kun and be honest with our heart. |

Poor Hashiba lol. That must’ve shocked him for sure. I know it won’t make things awkward between them, but I’m pretty sure there’s still that tiny sting of heartbreak somewhere in him, lmao. Anyway!!! They’re officially dating now, right?? :3 |
