This series sits firmly in the average-but-could've-been-great category. It had a solid foundation—a unique setting that really worked—but the short runtime didn’t give it the breathing room it needed. Because of that, it ends up feeling more like an extended one-shot than a fully realized story.
There were so many missed opportunities. A deeper dive into Makino’s backstory could’ve added some real emotional weight, and the side characters definitely had potential that just went unexplored. And as for the ending—it didn’t feel like a true conclusion, more like the story just... stopped.
That said, I still enjoyed my time with it. The art was cute, the vibes

were nice, and even if the story didn’t hit as hard as it could have, it kept me interested while it lasted. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for something short and light.
6/10 – Fine, but could’ve been more.
