Another yuri manga, which follows a pretty similar start. The main characters in Amayo no Tsuki are incredibly similar to the ones in Anemone; Down to the character designs and personality, as if the characters in Amayo no Tsuki are just the ones in Anemone in an alternate universe. 

Wholesome yuri goodness, both series feature almost the same setting (girl doesn't get into the school she wanted to) and both have downtrodden deuteragonist who gets cheered up/helped by the protagonist.  

Nagisa and Mashiro are scarily similar characters to Shizuku and Kaori. Mashiro and Kaori are the ones pushing for a relationship and Nagisa and Shizuku are initially very reluctant but slowly end up falling in love. Mashiro also has a health issue, just like Kaori.
