It’s a short love story, 19 chapters, about two childhood friends who always competed in various things but were too afraid to admit they loved each other. So, they grew up chasing after one another in that endless loop. The main idea is good, but the way it was developed sometimes annoyed me.
There are really only five characters in this story that matter, the rest are just extras. The main couple, Chikage and Haruto, is the only one that gets real development, while the rest of the cast exists solely to support their romance. The problem is that, although this is a story about adults,

they act like children when it comes to each other. This keeps happening until about halfway through the manga, which is when they finally start behaving more like adults. And I know the story is focused on this couple, but NO other character gets more than two pages of development, even if they serve a purpose in the plot.
The story is built on misunderstandings that keep stacking up. It’s nothing new, but it works. I really think it was a good read—it’s simple, and I do recommend it, but it’s not something amazing.
