According to the press conference they did a little while ago it doesn't seem like they'll 100% be sticking to the game story so be expecting some change ups here or there plot wise.
Good news is that they seem to be consulting Yoko Taro and taking his advice on the project so I trust everything will turn out fine. Not too disappointed. In fact I'm happy we get to see new content!
Ya hyped for the Nier anime?
