That time I got reincarnated as a Otaku
Hello everyone, I'm Nenuru.
Side fact: Nenuru is a mixture of the name Netaru (my cat) and Rimuru. Netaru is the most important living being in my life, everything else has less importance.
First of all I guess it's important to say how my rating is based. Because I love to discuss about anime, but whether I rate a anime good or bad... It has nothing to do with follow points:
A anime is good or bad.
I like a anime or I dislike it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A example of my list: Demon Slayer.
I rate Demon Slayer very good. BUT that doesn't mean I hype it or love it. I just enjoy it a lot. But looking at this anime rational, I don't think it's a good one. It's just classic things that everyone likes thrown in a pot with the name Demon Slayer on it.
Now a example for the other side: Kuro no Shoukanshi
It's a classic normal Isekai anime. I like it, the story was good and there is not much ecchi like in other ones. The protagonist is a battle fanatic and kinda mean person. I totally love that. But I didn't had the feeling it was something special... it was a average feeling inside of me and so I scored the anime.
Soo the conclusion... I rate anime by gut feeling! I have no scheme or system. Just by gut feeling!!!
You can hate me for that or start a normal discussion with me about any anime you like. But please hold on facts and not theories or leaked (not officale) information. So we can have a good and fact based discussion.
Thank you in advance.
P.S.: Also don't hate or offend other people because of they taste or do you want a world with humans that love all the same stuff? Did you actually learn anything while watching anime?

Now a bit more information about myself!!
I love Shounen Anime! My favorite one is One Piece, I enjoy it and watch it since years! My heart grows with this anime and will nevr leave it. Even with over 1,000 episodes you should give it a chance. Really!
My first contact with anime was as little child. I watched "Alps no Shoujo Heidi", "Chiisana Viking Vickie" and "Mitsubachi Maya no Bouken" on TV but I was very small at this age.
In third grade I watched "Yu-Gi-Oh!" and "Beyblade" (Metal Saga) on TV with a old friend. I never realized it was called anime until I saw "InuYasha" in the seventh grade and never stopped.
I really appreciate the old classic ones and I love to watch older anime, there is just one problem.... to find this old anime. It's kinda hard because they are so old, but older anime has a complete other vibe the new ones.
Don't be shy to send a FR or chat with me. I like to make new friends every day.

To Your Eternity is starting to lose me a bit. The entire story is descending into such chaos. It moving in endless circles that lead nowhere and as mentioned before our beloved characters from the past are just after thoughts. I am also starting to dislike Mizuha more with each passing week. Fushi is also behaving in such a weird way and to be honest..? I am over the war with the Knockers. It's starting to bother me.
Yeah... I was gonna say. It was never a light hearted show in the first place. Looking at it very critically and from a narrative viewpoint, they had the start be super goofy, funny and light hearted on purpose. Because it facilitates the viewers much easier to start binding themselves to characters. They think the tone is light hearted so they can love characters cause they are safe. But then, shit hits the fan and Shibuya absolutely breaks your heart, which is EXACTLY the point. This is why it hit so badly and utterly destroys you. I find it insanely fascinating because it broke me sooooo hard. Such a fantastic season of anime. Oshi no Ko did something very similarly in their first episode, if you remember/or know it.
That's exactly what I mean. March is basically like a mother figure for Fushi but she's never there. Gugu is almost like a brother for Fushi and he could offer him solid advice but he's also never there. He could be like an emotional rock of sorts but he just plays no factor whatsoever. The only two characters which were brought back and actually have an effect on the show are Bon and Tonari, even though Tonari is only like this forgotten losing heroine of sorts... And I'll be completely honest I'm sort of over the knockers at this point. I feel the entire arc should have ended last season. The show just feels like this weird Rom com with a love triangle, which I usually tend to enjoy but it does not fit into To Your Eternity. To me at least.
Yes I also am going to watch all the shows I named. I'm particularly hyped for Frieren and Jujutsu Kaisen! I actually saw the early screening of the first two episodes of the 3rd season of Jujutsu Kaisen already which was fantastic. MAPPA's animation is truly something else.
Ahhh I see about the others. Are you gonna watch the big ones in Winter such as JJK, Frieren, Hells Paradise and Oshi No Ko?
