My personal top 3 favorites in this order were

Nayuta
Shikaku
Chickens

I did not like Sasaki stopped a bullet, or Woke up as a girl. In Sasaki, they failed to portray a school shooting in a very serious realistic manner and it feels like a sham to those who have survived such a scenario.

Woke up as a girl perpetuates male "manliness" as if all men need to act the same exact way or live by some sort of code. The beauty of life is in diversity.

You misinterpreted heavily Nayuta of the Prophecy. I'd recommend picking up The Last Wish from the witcher series. There's an arc that bascially talks about the same thing that Nayuta does but quite better (who would've guessed you can flesh out a theme more in a book than in a short)

The characters are just your run of the mill highschool tropes

Watashi is a jackass stereotypical loner neet with social issues.

Akashi is the girl he really likes.

Ozu is trying to ruin Watashi's life.

and then everyone else is so forgettable.

Watashi is also unlikable yeah. He's just annoying.

By the way, I agree with your viewpoints on Tatami Galaxy.

It had a nice soundtrack and the visuals were mesmerizing and that is all.

There was no feeling of progress, it's sort of just escapism for high schoolers.

It's extremely overrated (8.55 rating somehow) especially considering it's lack of actual content.

I haven't seen anything else to do with Kamen Rider so I can't comment on how it fits into the rest of the franchise, I meant the show's individual tone. I figured what it's going for is crude comedy aimed at adult male viewers who probably grew up with Kamen Rider, and I think the fanservice fits that. I agree it's definitely not for everyone though, even I'm starting to get kinda bored of it a grand 5 episodes in lol. They keep replaying the same 3 songs every time something "hype" happens...

for what it's worth, the artstyle isn't really all that attractive to be worth sexualizing your girls this hard

I feel this part whenever they include some tiddy jiggle in the middle of a fight scene lol, I almost view the fanservice as part of the comedy because of how unappealing it looks with the art style.
I don't exactly have an issue with the fanservice's execution (it's so exaggerated that it feels in line with the show's dumb fun tone) but I do agree that having the first guy introduced be some middle-aged loser and the first woman introduced be a smoking hot young teacher is kinda dumb.

literally, I don't remmeber anything from Rio or Mai but Hanekawa and Senjougahara are such memorable characters because of their complex personalities.

what frustrates me about Mai is that her sadistic side is so non threatening compared to Senjou's

like take ep 1 of Bakemonogatari where Senjougahara threatens Araragi to keep him quiet

However with Mai, all she did was tell Sakuta to keep quiet.

They took the complex monogatari characters and cut them to simplicity.

(edited because I spoiled a lot for monogatari and ik it wont affect u but it may affect ppl who see my comment)

and then simplifying them down to the bare minimum.

Frieren tag "I didn't really think about it when I wrote my review but it's weird af that a show about a non-human learning to deal with her emotions and shit has genocided an entire non-human race for not having human emotions and she's applauded for this

I don't necessarily think how this show treats demons is problematic in of itself (the fanbase however...) but it's such a weird turn for this show specifically to take"

Yet you like Future Diary which has a fucking serial killer protagonist glorified for her actions
