That's because people hyped it so much and ofc I was hyped too without knowing the source material, When I started it felt too boring I couldn't even pass 30mins,So I dropped it but maybe I'll give it a watch again in future.

Well, I haven't read it myself, so I don't know for sure. But after seeing that the manga is so short it is considerable that some of the anime versions adapted all of it. So if you watch both of the anime, it is almost sure that you know the full story.
