If you like simple fantasy trash this is pretty good. It's got decent characters who interact well, a fun story line and some real worldbuilding. It's pretty easy to watch and fun too. It does nothing new though, the entire premise is wrapped up almost immediately other than a minor part a few episodes in, only to be largely irrelevant for the entire anime.
What makes this stand out even a little is the main party. Terrible party name aside they're fun, they have established relationsips and get on well (well, like family might be a better phrase). They're also all, and this is critial, really

Lovehearts in the name and slightly misleading description aside this is actually a pretty great anime about adult-focused relationships (of all kinds), dealing with trauma/mental health and work-life balance. It's more slice of life than rom-com.
The premise takes up the first two, and last two, episodes, but little more than that to be honest. The rest focuses on Sam's guild and workmates and their interactions, as well as Marshals life. Frankly, it's fantastic. It doesn't shy away from the realities of life but it doesn't get grim and depressing, the levity remains. It's akin to Horimiya in many aspects, which might be why I like ...

It's a simple, cute little series that's an easy read. The characters are adorable and the plot bounces along at a nice pace, at 8 volumes it doens't outstay its welcome either. There's not much to say other than that really. If you like a gentle slice of life with light romance elements and cute characters this is for you. It doesn't have much depth and zero tension, there aren't even real dep plot arcs to speak of. It's totally stress free.

This has some of the best character chemistry I've seen, and the music scenes are truly excellent, especially if you're a rock fan. The duality of rich girl and rocker is a nice touch too. Overall I really recommend giving the first 5 episodes a shot, or at least the first 3. This feels like a different kind of music anime than others I've seen, I hope it gets a second season.

A mistreated daughter is forced to marry someone with a terrible reputation but a heart of gold. This doesn't have an incredibly original story, borrowing from a few other places, but it does everything right. It's not full-blown damsel romance and it's not a badass girlboss anime. It sits comfortably inbetween with some very interesting intrigue and storylines that kept me watching far longer than I thought I would. I binged up to episode 11 without realising I'd done so.

Yet another anime with a main character whose name might be unique in Japan but in the UK is painfully generic. Lloyd. I know it's meaningless elsewhere but it's a trend I find hilarious.
Painfully genric sums up the plot as well honestly. The heroes party are exactly what you'd expect, complete with the 1 character whose obviously not totally on board with the 'be bitter and sabotage my entire party and life' plan. This isn't quite the clone I expected it to be. That is the most important thing to start off with.
It combines elements from a couple of fantasy/isekai subgenre's while also portraying an uncomfortably realistic view of feudal/adventuring life. It's not always an easy watch, especially in the first few episodes. I really am enjoying it though and recommend it based on the interesting characters and world. The cast are generally those who don't fit into society and the community feel to the show gives it a pretty unique feeling. I can honestly see myself upgrading this from 8 to 10 if it ends the season ...

Let's start with the positives. The animation is pretty and it's got some solid comedy. The dub is pretty good and the accents are a nice touch. Mona is a fun character whose got depth, so while she's charming she's also got a pretty terrible personality but she's not portrayed as a sociopath, which is nice.
There are two issues with this show though. The one is that the one gag is has gets exhausting almost immediately. If it showed signs of gaining depth as a show and analysing these characters who've all defined they're lives by a single trait then that's be fine, or at ...

As someone who loves a good mystery it pains me to say that this isn't one. Before going into detail the music and animation are pretty good, and it has some neat visual effects. It's also important to note I'm from the UK, and as such absolutely sick to death of everything vaguely detectivey being basically Sherlock Holmes. There are other sorts of detective stories! Since this show is basically Sherlock Holmes as a Japanese school girl in a hotel by someone whose a big fan of Death Parade this does matter.

This is a very silly anime. It's trying to be relaxing, raunchy, and action and does neither well. I'll bite those off in separate chunks to explain. For reference, I'm the same age as the protagonist, which probably matters.
Relaxing Ok, so we flash forward through the guys life. He then gets ported to another world, can shop and effectively becomes a successful merchant immediately. No questions asked, no build up, no failure. Anything this guy tries to do he's amazing at. We'll touch on that point again later.
