Hi, everyone! I'm Portuguese, but you can talk to me in English, Spanish, French, and Italian as well (hopefully in Japanese and Dutch soon).
You will be able to find any type of anime in my list, I'm not picky. As for the manga, I'm starting to read them in Japanese so it takes me a while.
I have a degree in Biology and a master's in Forensic Sciences. I also write books as a part-time job. I intend to turn some of those books into manga/webcomics.
Now, if you're here looking for suggestions, this is the part that might interest you, for I will explain my ranking system:
1, 2, and 3 - You will rarely find these numbers on my list. I only rank anime that I finish watching and if it's worth a rank 3 or less, I generally can't stand watching it until the end and drop it.
4 - Bad anime. Period. Struggled to finish them.
5 - Either bad anime that I found somewhat enjoyable or anime that are not truly *that* bad but that I had to watch on 1.5 speed to not fall asleep.
6 - Either anime that have positive qualities but that have quite a bunch of negatives as well or, in rare cases, anime that had an equal amount of great episodes and mediocre ones. It's not a shame for an anime to be on a rank 6, but it's not like I'm recommending it to you.
7 - Most anime fall into this category. For an anime to be here it means I had to enjoy it to a certain degree. Am I recommending it to you? It depends. If the synopsis picked your interest and you like the genres the anime falls into, then yes, I am. Otherwise, I'm not.
8 - Good anime. If the synopsis picked your interest and you like the genres the anime falls into, then I'm truly recommending it to you.
9 and 10 - I do not care who you are or what your tastes are like, I'm telling you to at least give these anime a watch. The cons of anime ranked 10 are so small that can be ignored. A rank 9 anime had something that pulled my strings the wrong way. In terms of recommendation, it doesn't make a difference.

You were my Secret Santa this year and I just wanted to thank you for your amazing recommendations. 91 Days was a great show that kept my attention all the way through. I kept telling myself that I would take it slow and wouldn't just binge it in one sitting but that's exactly what I did cause it was so good and the ending was beautiful. I'm just a sucker for mafia-style shows and this one is no exception. I also thoroughly enjoyed Tokyo Godfathers as a nice, cozy Christmas movie. I haven't gotten around to watching Gankutsuou yet, but I will soon and it sounds pretty interesting. I can tell you've put a lot of effort into these recommendations so thank you again!
Hope you've had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year!
Ooow muito obrigada >.<
