My name is Jackie (or that's my name online at least), and I'm a university student. Nice to meet you.

I may not have been here for that long, but I have watched anime since around 2012, and it has played a major role in where I am in life today. I have a passion for a good story, which is what I like most about watching anime and reading manga.

I like all sorts of anime, but my favorite genres are:
1) mystery,
2) sports,
3) romance.

The most important thing to me in an anime is:
1) whether I like the characters (can I relate to them, do they interest me, can I come to care enough about what happens to them and such)
2) Whether the story is interesting (do I want to know what happens next, can it draw me in and keep me engaged and things like that)
3) Whether I like the soundtrack. (do I notice it in a good way, does it add to the scenes emotionally and things like that)

I am not very good at reaching out to people, but if there is any anime or manga you want to talk about, feel free to reach out.

I keep a blog on Tumblr where I talk about anime I like, fanfics I'm writing and personal experiences in Japan, whenever I'm there. You can find me there under the same username if you're interrested, although posts are irregular. You can also find me on AO3, where I post fanfictions (or at least used to do so), again under the same username. I'm not very good at using these things, as you can probably tell.
