Ahhh man Satoshi Kon one of the greatest ever. Perfect blue was one of the first anime films i watched when i started getting into them. Just incredible. Pretty much everything he’s made has been amazing, millennium actress actually left me speechless. I saw paranoia agent over the summer that was just so wild i can’t even describe it. I saw he also worked on “Memories” Need to give that a watch at some point

first of all i apologise for such a late response this app doesn’t even notify me of a new message. Didn’t even open the app since i had exams and couldn’t really log anything . You look like an OG fan icl that’s peak. Back in the day i only ever watched dragon ball with my cousins that was cool although i just thought of that as regular cartoon. And now that im actually into anime i feel so overwhelmed since there’s like a hundred shows i want to
watch at once. I’m more of a film person so i end up not watching anything for a while. Even i try to watch some semi popular or borderline obscure shows time to time , they give me different kind of experience ngl. I guess the Tatami Galaxy is one of them if you’ve heard of it (you might even have seen it lol). I really wanna check out more hidden gems but at the same time wanna watch the popular stuff that everyone’s says is peak so i’m just conflicted most of the time . I got a friend like you who’s favourite is JoJo that man cannot stop glazing the life out of that show.

It’s pretty cool you’ve got a sister who watches anime, i been trying to get my brother into it but he’s in his “edgy teenager” era and thinks all anime is for kids. Just one of my cousins watches it now. All my friends literally stopped just as i was getting into it so that’s peak i guess lol.

also yeah im down to talk about anime’s we’ve watched, most shows i watch aside from the very popular ones i don’t really meet anyone who’s seen them so it would be nice. Is there a way to check the common shows? not entirely sure about this app. Also do you have a discord by any chance , i feel like a villain replying after two weeks

oh hi there, thanks for your message. I honestly started anime only last January lol so i’m pretty new to it. just been picking random ones to watch from my watchlist since then. Kinda wish i started early like you lol could’ve made great memories. you still watch these days? my friends been childhood anime fans and im starting pretty much when they’ve basically stopped watching it.
